There are many different ways to make a gift to Osgoode Hall Law School, whether you wish to give today or in the future.

Give Now

Cash
A gift of cash is the most common and quickest way of giving. Donors may choose to make a one-time gift or pledge a larger amount that can be paid off over time. To give now with a credit card go to our secure on-line donation form.

Securities
By directly donating securities that have appreciated in value to Osgoode, you will not pay the capital gains tax normally associated with such a sale. You will receive a tax receipt for the full, fair market value of the shares, but will not be taxed on any gain. If you own stocks or mutual funds that have grown in value, you would normally be subject to capital gains tax.

Give in the Future

Some donors who are interested in making a substantial gift to the Law School will leave a bequest in their will, but there are other types of deferred gifts such as life insurance.
