Austin Cooper Collection

Austin Cooper and two pieces of art from his collection

When Austin Cooper ’53 – one of the justice system’s most passionate advocates – passed away in September 2014 at the age of 84, he bequeathed his outstanding art collection of about 100 paintings, photographs and sculptures to Osgoode in appreciation for helping to launch his career.

The Law School is very grateful for the gift and proud to display the art throughout the building.
