2. Intake Interview - If your matter meets the above three criteria, please be prepared to book a meeting with one of our students. This meeting will take roughly an hour.
3. When you come for an interview you should bring:
- photo ID
- proof of income for all members of your household
- disclosure (if you are facing a criminal charge)
- other relevant documents
4. After your Interview- One of our students will review your case with a Review Counsel. After they have made their decision regarding whether we can accept your case or not, you will be informed in writing within 10 business days.
A student and Review Counsel will review your case. When making a decision to accept or deny an application, CLASP uses the criteria outlined in Applying for Our Services as well as the following guiding principles:
- Student Capacity (this entails caseload and community development projects)
- Clinic and University Closures (exams, training, etc.)
- If you are within a priority group
- Other factors specific to each case
