The Immigration Division provides new immigrants and refugees to Canada with assistance in a range of proceedings related to establishing their immigration status.

We provide assistance/representation with regards to:

  • Appeals of family sponsorship decisions where one family member is sponsoring a relative to come to Canada.
  • Application for permanent resident status on humanitarian and compassionate (H&C) grounds for permanent residence
  • Refugee hearings
  • Pre-Removal Risk Assessments (for existing clients)
    • Hearings to determine whether a person should be deported on the basis that they are a risk here
  • Civil Claims against paralegals acting in these areas (up to $25,000)
  • We provide summary advice for people asking general immigration related questions
