Patricia Olasker

Patricia is a senior partner of Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP where she practises corporate and securities law, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. She is recognized as one of Canada’s leading experts on M&A, shareholder activism and cross-border corporate finance. Patricia is a member of the Ontario Securities Commission’s CEO Advisory Council, past Chair of the Securities Advisory Committee to the Ontario Securities Commission, a former legal advisor to the Chairman of the Ontario Securities Commission and a past Chair of the Securities Law Subcommittee of the Business Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association – Ontario. She has also served on an advisory committee to the Senate Banking Committee on the subject of a federal securities commission.
