Anastasia Lintner

BA, MA, PhD (Guelph), LLB (Osgoode), of the Bar of Ontario

A passionate public interest advocate, Dr. Lintner is currently employed as a staff lawyer and economist with Ecojustice Canada and appointed as an Adjunct Professor in the Economics Department at the University of Guelph.  The highlight of her legal career (thus far) was combining environmental economic and legal arguments for the Supreme Court of Canada in a case involving the valuation of sensitive environmental lands.  Dr. Lintner specializes in environmental assessment, conservation and water law, and in Ontario's Environmental Bill of Rights.

In addition to extensive environmental economics teaching experience, Dr. Lintner teaches international environmental policy in the Balsillie School of International Affairs, a partnership among Wilfrid Laurier Univerity, the University of Waterloo and the Centre for International Governance.
