Holly Reid

Holly Reid is an Associate with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP who practices in all areas of labour and employment law including labour relations matters, employment law, human rights complaints, privacy, workplace safety and insurance, and occupational health and safety. Ms Reid has experience in preparing for grievance arbitrations, human rights mediations, and all aspects of wrongful dismissal and other employment-related litigation. She regularly provides advice to clients regarding human rights, accommodation and employment law issues, and with respect to the creation and implementation of personnel policies. Holly has appeared as counsel before the Ontario Superior Court.

Ms Reid graduated with honours from the University of Ottawa Law School and holds the Emond Harnden Prize in Labour and Employment Law. She also has an M.A. in international affairs from Carleton University, focusing on negotiation theory and conflict resolution. Ms Reid is a regular contributor to the Employment and Labour Law Reporter, and has published a number of articles relating to the negotiation process.
