Lisa Carty is an Associate in the Labour & Employment Group of Blakes LLP, where she assists employers in all areas of labour and employment law, including employment standards, human rights, labour relations, workplace safety and insurance, privacy, occupational health and safety, wrongful dismissal, and other employment-related mediation and litigation.

Ms Carty frequently advises on the labour and employment aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, dispositions and reorganizations. Her practice also involves preparing employment and consulting contracts, termination agreements and workplace personnel policies as well as generally providing advice in respect of all aspects of the employment relationship.

Ms Carty is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates' Society and the Toronto Lawyers Association. She is a regular contributor to the Employment and Labour Law Reporter. Ms Carty received her LL.B. at the University of Ottawa and her B.A. at the University of New Brunswick.
