Mr. Ball is a partner in the firm of Ball & Alexander.  He has been winning counsel in a number of important employment law cases at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada.  He is the author of the leading treatise Canadian Employment Law, which has been cited and quoted with approval in the Supreme Court of Canada and superior courts in every Canadian province.  He is a former editor of the Canadian Cases on Employment Law and Dismissal and Employment Law Digest.  Adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, and former adjunct at the Faculty of Law of the University of Western Ontario.  He has chaired and presented at numerous employment law programs at the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association. He was called to the bar in 1987, and is of the bars of Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.
