Osgoode's Emergency Funding Program

Osgoode maintains a small emergency loan fund to support students in dire financial circumstance who experience cash flow problems:

Short Term Funding:

Osgoode may provide short term emergency funding to students who are experiencing dire cash flow shortages. These interest-free loans must be repaid within the same semester in which they are provided.

Longer Term Funding:

Osgoode may provide emergency funding to third year students who, at the time of graduation, find themselves unable to pay for their Bar Admissions courses or cover living expenses while articling. Students applying for these loans must have exhausted all other sources of funding, including a possible extension of their student line-of-credit. These loans are also interest free and must be repaid within 12 months of the date of Convocation.
