Description

Osgoode provides a secure email and calendaring platform, branded with osgoode.yorku.ca

Service Features

  • Uses IBM Domino
  • Email and calendar can be accessed through the Lotus Notes client or webmail
  • Mobile device access is available – see Mobile Email Service catalogue entry for more detail
  • Mailboxes and calendars can be accessed by other staff to assist with scheduling meetings and other administrative tasks
  • All members of the Osgoode community can be sent an email directly from the address book

  • Non-Osgoode Students enrolled in Osgoode courses
  • Full-time Staff
  • Temporary Staff
  • Full-time Faculty
  • Part-time Faculty
  • Visiting Faculty

How To Request This Service

Staff

The Office of the Executive Officer requests accounts for staff members through help@osgoode.yorku.ca
Requests must include:

  • Staff member’s full name
  • Union affiliation
  • Department affiliation
  • Mailbox and calendar access (where applicable)

Faculty

  • The Office of the Dean or Office of the Associate Dean requests an account through help@osgoode.yorku.ca  Requests must include:
    • Faculty member’s full name
    • Faculty affiliation (full time or adjunct)
    • Forwarding address (where applicable)
    • Mailbox and calendar access (where applicable)

Students

  • Accounts are provisioned through the admissions process
  • Exchange / NCA / LOP: Accounts are requested by Student Services through help@osgoode.yorku.ca and must include:
    • Student’s full name
    • Student’s class year
    • Student’s special affiliation

Students (OPD)

  • Accounts are requested by OPD through help@osgoode.yorku.ca and must include:
    • Student’s full name
    • Student’s calss year
