Trusted Sites
Follow these instructions to add *.yorku.ca as a trusted site in your web browser.
Internet Explorer
- Click Tools – Internet Options - Security
- Select Trusted Sites and then click on Sites
- Uncheck the box that reads Require server verification …
- Type in *.yorku.ca and click Add
- Click on Firefox – Options – Options – Security
- Click Exceptions
- Type *.yorku.ca and click Allow
Mozilla Firefox
Note: Select Ultra-Lite in the top right of the screen to access your webmail attachments in Firefox.
- Click on Firefox – Options – Options – Security
- Click Exceptions
- Type *.yorku.ca and click Allow
IBM Lotus Notes Plugin
If you are using Internet Explorer, you will need to allow the IBM Lotus Notes plugin to install. You will be prompted to allow the installation.
From Name
Under Mail Preferences, the contents of Owner of this mail file should not be changed. If changed, the from name will show up as None.
To restore the original name, please contact the Helpdesk to confirm what it should say under the User Name
