Osgoode JD student Luba Yurchak has won the Allan Ponak Prize from the Canadian Industrial Relations Association (CIRA) for her paper “Judicial Review of Labour Arbitration and Labour Board Decisions in the Post-Dunsmuir Period in Ontario.” The Allen Ponak Best Student Paper Award is CIRA’s distinction given to the best student paper presented at its annual conference. Graduate students are invited to submit papers that proceed through a blind review process to determine acceptance for presentation at the conference and the winner of the competition. The award is typically accompanied by a $500 prize. The recipient is invited to receive the award at the annual conference.
