Professor Benjamin Berger awarded Canadian Association of Law Teachers- Association Canadienne des Professeurs de Droit (CALT-ACPD) Prize for Academic Excellence for 2014-15

Osgoode Professor Benjamin Berger has been awarded the Canadian Association of Law Teachers -Association Canadienne des Professeurs de Droit (CALT-ACPD) Prize for Academic Excellence for 2014-15. The annual CALT Prize for Academic Excellence honours exceptional contribution to research and law teaching by a Canadian law teacher in mid-career.

The award recognizes Berger’s “exceptional scholarly work that has made important contributions across a number of diverse fields including Criminal Law and Evidence, Constitutional Law, and Law and Religion.” It also acknowledges his dedication to teaching, which has also been rewarded by teaching awards at both the University of Victoria and Osgoode Hall Law School.

The award will be given out at a reception at the CALT Conference on June 2, 2015 at the University of Ottawa.
