Once students have completed their placement (or combined placements) and 40 hours of public interest work, there are two options for program evaluation. Students are asked to select one of the following options:
1. Brief Essay: Students may choose to write a short paper (3 pages) on a topic discussed in Ethical Lawyering in a Global Community and reflecting upon the public interest placement experience(s).
OR
2. Group Discussion: Students will participate in a three hour faculty or practitioner- facilitated discussion on issues raised during Ethical Lawyering in a Global Community in the context of their experiences during the public interest placement. Students who choose this option will be provided with an opportunity to participate in the discussion groups at specific times/dates during the school year.
The evaluations are on a satisfactory / unsatisfactory basis.
For students who have done more than one placement, only ONE evaluation discussion session or paper is required!
