Tuition for the LLM and PhD programs follows the same tuition as for most other graduate programs at York University. These fees are set by the University every year. Current fee rates should always be checked on the Student Financial Services – Course and Program Fees page – choose “Graduate Studies” in the “Graduate” list.
Students in the Graduate Program in Law must register and pay tuition for all three York University terms: fall, winter, summer until completion of the program. Each student must pay a minimum amount of tuition as follows:
LLM and LLM-MRP students: 3 terms (one year) of full-time fees or their equivalent
PhD students: 6 terms (two years) of full-time fees or their equivalent
The University charges late fees for unpaid tuition. See the Student Financial Services – Paying your Account page for more information on late fees and how to pay your tuition.
