At the heart of every Osgoode graduate student’s experience is one person: the supervisor.
The supervisor is there to help you enter the world of legal academia. They help you access the world of legal scholarship, assist in shaping your research, push you to think about your ideas in new and unexpected ways. They are a guide, a mentor, a critic, a coach, and a colleague.
Osgoode has over 60 graduate faculty members who can supervise your work. They include many of Canada’s leading legal researchers. Some of our faculty come from areas outside the traditional law school. They include philosophers, historians, political scientists, cultural scholars, social scientists, and public policy scholars.
