Osgoode graduate students are part of a vital scholarly, professional, and social community, both within Osgoode and as part of York University. Osgoode encourages student participation on its committees and its Faculty Council. Several positions are reserved for graduate students.

Osgoode graduate students are part of the Graduate Law Students’ Association (GLSA) and the York University Graduate Students Association (YUGSA). They have access to the Osgoode Graduate Common room. The YUGSA operates both the Grad Lounge, a licensed lounge and patio serving lunch and dinner, and the Grad Cafe, a quiet, grad-only reading room serving fair trade coffee and tea.
