Osgoode Hall Law School,

How to Fund Law School

Each student is responsible for thoroughly reviewing the various financial programs and options available for funding their three years at Osgoode. We strongly recommend that students consider all of the options in the event that assistance from family, spouse and work prove inadequate. We expect all students to pursue these personal sources of funding in the first place.

There are six main sources of funding available for students:

  1. Government Assistance for Ontario and Out of Province Students
  2. Special Professional Student Line of Credit
  3. Entrance Scholarships
  4. Upper Year Scholarships
  5. Bursaries
  6. Medals and Prizes

In addition, there are other specific opportunities for funding at Osgoode:

  1. External Funding Opportunities
  2. Emergency Funding
  3. Aboriginal Funding
  4. Social Justice Funding
  5. Students with Disabilities Funding
  6. Internships
