Osgoode Hall Law School,

International Programs

Study abroad programs offer an extraordinary opportunity to enrich your law school experience. Immersing yourself in the study of law in a foreign jurisdiction is an excellent way to learn about other legal systems and to gain international experience and perspectives.

Each year Osgoode sends students to universities across five continents, including universities in India, China, Denmark, France, Ireland, Germany, Singapore and Japan, to name a few. Osgoode also accepts incoming exchange students each year.

Exposure to different legal systems and perspectives equips students to be excellent critical and innovative thinkers. Through comparative legal studies, exchange students may gain new insights into how Canadian law fits within the global legal landscape. Whether one intends to practise law domestically or internationally, or work in academics, law reform, human rights advocacy or business, international perspectives are an invaluable asset.
