Student clubs offer an excellent way for students to meet and network with other students, academics and practicing professionals with similar interests. In addition to the wide-ranging academic program, Osgoode’s student clubs and activities offer a multitude of ways to get involved and meet people who will become friends, networking contacts, and mentors. 

Legal and Literary Society

The Osgoode Legal and Literary Society (Legal & Lit) is Osgoode’s student government. Legal & Lit works closely with Student Caucus to ensure a top-quality student experience at Osgoode. Legal & Lit is responsible for:

• student health and dental plan
• club funding
• orientation, Dean’s Formal, pub nights and many other events
• yearbook, graduation photos, Osgoode clothing sale
• Student Honour Awards and Excellence in Teaching Awards

Student Caucus

Student Caucus represents student interests and opinions to the faculty and administration, always seeking to improve academic life at Osgoode. Student Caucus members:

• attend Faculty Council meetings and participate in committees
• participate in discussions regarding curriculum reform and changes to academic policy
• advise on the applications and admissions process and the awarding of prizes and scholarships
• participate in faculty recruitment
