The Osgoode Mediation Clinic DOES NOT provide legal advice on any matters. Law student mediators, under the supervision of the OMC Director, or another person appointed by the Director, conduct all mediations. Our law students are second and third year students enrolled in a Mediation Intensive Clinical Program for academic credit. Students learn the theory and practice of mediation through intensive mediation workshops, class seminars, and in practice through the OMC. All parties seeking assistance from the OMC are advised to seek legal advice before, during, and following any agreement reached. Parties are further advised to seek advice on any limitation period that may affect their matters.
