Gender-Based Violence and the Legal System: A Roadmap for Systemic Change

In 2024, the BC government appointed Kim Stanton to conduct an independent systemic review of the BC legal system’s treatment of intimate partner violence and sexual violence. She released her final report in June 2025. In this talk, she will provide an overview of the report and discuss her proposed measures for achieving systemic change.
