Kristin Ali is a lawyer with Blake, Cassels, Graydon LLP. Her practice encompasses a broad range of complex business and commercial disputes, including corporate and securities litigation, cybersecurity matters, and class actions. She has extensive experience conducting internal investigations and representing clients in inquiries by various government agencies. She also advises clients on e-discovery strategies in complex commercial disputes.
Prior to joining Blakes in November 2013, Ms. Ali practiced in Boston for a number of years at a leading international law firm, and her American legal experience is invaluable in cross-border matters. As part of her practice in the U.S., she represented public and private companies in government investigations relating to securities fraud, pharmaceutical compliance and data security breaches. She also maintained an active pro bono practice, including successful representations in immigration and constitutional matters. Ms. Ali began her legal career in Toronto, clerking for Justices Doherty, MacPherson, Juriansz, and LaForme of the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
