Dr. Baglay’s research is focused on Canadian and comparative immigration and refugee law and policy, international public law and international human rights. For a number for years, she has been actively involved in work with refugee claimants in Canada, including preparation of refugee claims and appearances before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. She is the Director of the Intensive Program in Immigration and Refugee Law. For a number of years, she has also taught International Research and Placements. Dr. Baglay is the co-author of Refugee Law (Irwin Law, 2007) and is currently working on another text on Canadian immigration and refugee law.
