Aaron Franks is a partner at Epstein Cole with a focus on family law and the defence of solicitors’ negligence claims. He also uses alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration. He has worked on cases at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Mr. Franks has authored and co-authored several papers on family law topics. He is an instructor for the family law section of the Bar Admission Course, and speaks frequently on a variety of legal topics. He is also an editor of the Reports in Family Law.
Mr. Franks holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of British Columbia, as well as an MBA from York University. He is a member of the family law section of the Ontario Bar Association. Prior to joining Epstein Cole, he practised commercial litigation with a large Bay Street firm.
