Dr. Gastle is a principal of Bennett Gastle P.C., a litigation and trade policy boutique. He practices commercial litigation, international trade law and arbitration including NAFTA Chapter 11 investment disputes. With respect to trade policy, Chuck is designing legislation to implement the WTO TRIPs Agreement in Cambodia and preparing course materials for the Royal University of Law and Economics in Phnom Penh. Dr. Gastle has been the coordinator of the Osgoode-Aix Marseilles exchange program for the past eight years and has taught a variety of courses relating to international trade law, policy and arbitration. He has hosted a number of students from Europe, Brazil and Cambodia as interns at Bennett Gastle. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School since the2002-2003 academic year. In 2004, he was named as a Chevalier de l’Ordre des Palmes academiques by the Government of France. In 2006, he was the recipient of an Osgoode teaching award.
