Justice Rachel Grinberg was appointed to the Ontario Court of Justice in 2017. Prior to that, she was a criminal defence lawyer since her call to the Bar of Ontario in 1991. She received her BA (Political Science) from York University in 1986 and her LLB from the University of Western Ontario in 1989. She has extensive experience in the criminal courts and sat as an Alternate Chair on the Ontario Review Board. In addition to co-directing the Trial Advocacy Seminar, Justice Grinberg has been a team leader in the Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop (ITAW) and a guest instructor at Notre Dame Law School, South Bend, Indiana. Her community involvement includes: The Red Door Shelter, The Bridle Bash Foundation and The Bugsy & Ken Charity Golf Tournament.
