Mark Johnson is an associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. He regularly assists domestic and international clients on a full range of business matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, procurement, outsourcing, and commercial transactions. Mr. Johnson also advises both private partners and government clients on public infrastructure projects. Before joining Blakes, Mark he law clerk to the Honourable Madam Justice Rosalie Silberman Abella of the Supreme Court of Canada.
Mr. Johnson graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto, where he was awarded the Blaney, McMurtry LLP Prize in Native Peoples Law, the Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP Award for Academic Excellence in First Year and the Michael John Eccles Prize in Criminal Law. Prior to law school, he obtained a B.A. (honours), with the medal in philosophy, from Queen’s University and an M.Litt. from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
