Andrew Pilla has been the Crown Attorney in Scarborough for three years. Previously, he was Deputy Crown Attorney for 3.5 years and spent eleven years as an Assistant Crown starting in 1997. He was in private practice for 2.5 years with experience in insurance defence. Mr. Pilla also worked as a prosecutor for the Investment Dealers Association (now the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada) during that time.
Mr. Pilla worked with Justice James Chaffe in the Crown Attorney’s Office in Scarborough beginning in 1995 as a student, and continued this association until Justice Chaffe was appointed to the Ontario Court of Justice a few years ago.
