Philippe Tardif is a partner of the law firm of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and is the Regional Leader (Toronto) of the firm’s Securities and Capital Markets Practice Group. Mr. Tardif’s practice focuses on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance matters including cross-border transactions. He advises issuers and underwriters in respect of equity and debt offerings and issuers and acquirers in respect of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Mr. Tardif graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1985. He received an Honours BA (Business Administration) from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 1982. He is a past Chair of the Securities Law Subcommittee of the Ontario Bar Association and former member of the Ontario Securities Commission’s Securities Advisory Committee.
