Susan Wolburgh Jenah has been President and Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) from June 2008 to 2014. Ms. Jenah served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Dealers’ Association of Canada(IDA) from 2007 to 2008. She served senior positions at the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) from 1983 to 2007, where she served as Vice Chairman from 2004 to 2007. She has extensive knowledge of the issues affecting the securities sector both regulatory and development-related constitutes. She participated in setting priorities and oversaw Commission operations and leading policy initiatives.

Ms. Jenah served as Chairman and Director of adjudicative panels relating to enforcement proceedings, regulatory policy matters and appeals of decisions of recognized self-regulatory organizations. Ms. Jenah served as an Acting Chairman of the commission from July 2005 to November 2005. She served as Vice-Chairman of the international arena and represented the Commission on international committees of IOSCO and COSRA. She serves as a Director of Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and is a Director on various corporate and not-for-profit boards and advisory committees. She served as a Director on the Commission’s Investor Education Fund from 2004 to 2006 and the Canadian Securities Administrators’ (CSA) representative on Canada’s Accounting Standards Oversight Council from 2004 to 2007. She served as a Member of the Ontario Government’s Five-Year Legislative Review Committee. She was an Attorney by training. She was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1982. In June 2004, she graduated from the inaugural Directors Education Program offered by the Rotman School of Business and the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) and holds an ICD.D designation. Ms. Jenah has a BA from the University of Toronto and an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School.
