Uses for YU-Card

A YU-Card is required for all employees and students.  Your YU-Card assists with easily accessing some computing services.

• Print rooms (faculty and staff)
• Multi-function printers (faculty, staff and students)
• Cell phone charging stations

You can apply for a YU-Card online.

Replacing your Mobile Device

If you need to reset or replace your mobile device, follow these instructions to re-enable your YU-Card on the new device.

1. On the old device, remove the YU-Card from your wallet
2. On the new device, re-setup your YU-Card

If you do not remove the YU-Card from the wallet of the old device, you will not be able to add it to the new device.  Follow the instructions on the Replace/RenewYour YU-card page to re-activate your card on the new device, and to regain door access with your card.
