Harvey Strosberg and Paul Pape return to Osgoode

Dean Trevor Farrow, Harvey Strosberg and Paul Pape

Osgoode Hall Law School welcomed alumni Harvey Strosberg (LLB ’69) and Paul Pape (LLB ’69) back to campus.

During their visit, Harvey and Paul toured campus, met with Dean Trevor Farrow and spent time in the Strosberg–Pape Moot Court, reflecting on their years at Osgoode, the lifelong friendships they forged and the successful legal careers that followed.

One highlight of the visit was the opportunity to observe a live advocacy class taught by Professor Suzanne Chiodo, offering a glimpse of how today’s students are developing their advocacy skills in the very space that bears Harvey and Paul’s names.

The visit also highlighted Harvey’s family connection to Osgoode. His daughter, Law Society of Ontario Discipline Counsel Elaine Strosberg, an Osgoode alumna (LLM ’03), continues the family’s longstanding connection to the law school and legal education. Elaine is both an instructor for Osgoode’s annual Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop (ITAW) and an adjunct professor in this fall’s Trial Advocacy course.

The School also celebrated Paul’s recent recognition with the Law Society Medal, one of the legal profession’s highest honours, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the profession and public service.

Through their generosity in naming the Strosberg–Pape Moot Court, Harvey and Paul have created a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire generations of Osgoode students as they hone their advocacy skills and prepare for careers in law.

Thank you, Harvey and Paul, for your continued leadership, generosity and commitment to the Osgoode community. It was a privilege to welcome you back to campus.
