Osgoode Hall Library Services during the Labour Disruption

    Will the Library be open?
During the labour disruption at York University, Osgoode Hall Law School Library will be open regular hours.

Will there be fines on late items?

While overdue notices will continue to be issued by email during the labour disruption, no fines will accrue on any print materials.

Will there be changes to loan policies?

Regular Collection materials will circulate in accord with normal policies. Osgoode Core & Reserve collection materials will be designated for in-library use only. The restriction on Core materials is to ensure the integrity of the collection and fairness in access and availability.

    Should I return my books?

We encourage you to return Regular Collection materials on time as a courtesy to others. Alternatively you may choose to renew materials online.

What will happen when the labour disruption is over?

After the labour disruption is over, fines will begin to accrue for items designated for regular loans after a one day grace period. Please consider renewing materials as they come due to avoid fines when the strike is over.
