You may sit one of several examinations including the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the York English Language Test (YELT). Applicants relying on TOEFL must sit the test that includes the Test of Written English (TWE) component. An alternative test is the UK-based International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
