Library staff are available to assist you with retrieving materials from the stacks, photocopying, etc.

There are special tables in both of the Library’s reading rooms that are customized to accommodate wheelchairs. Additionally, some of the public PC workstations in the Computer Commons on the Library’s ground floor (McMillan LLP Reading Room) can accommodate wheelchairs and also have adaptive software. Please ask at the Circulation Desk for assistance.

Users with special needs can consult with Library staff before making a visit to the Library so that any necessary equipment and services can be arranged. Please email us at or telephone us at 416-736-5206.

Additional facilities are available at the Scott Library. Consult the York University Libraries Accessibility Services page on the York University Libraries website for further information.
