Anyone who graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with a JD, LLB, LLM, PhD/DJur degree (or, before 1961, received his or her call to the bar following study at Osgoode), is eligible to be nominated or may apply in the following categories:
Achievement recognizes exceptional professional success and leadership. Candidates should demonstrate:
- a record of professional accomplishment;
- proven leadership and commitment in their chosen field;
- recognizable contribution to the Law School and/or the community at large.
One-to-Watch is awarded to recent graduates who have demonstrated exceptional professional achievement. Candidates must have graduated from the JD program in the last 10 years and should demonstrate:
- high levels of achievement early in their chosen career or profession;
- leadership ability;
- recognizable contribution to the Law School and/or the community at large.
Public Sector recognizes the achievements of public sector or government lawyers and members of the judiciary. Candidates should demonstrate:
- sustained, outstanding service or a specific extraordinary accomplishment;
- significant contributions to social justice or public service;
- recognizable contribution to the Law School and/or the community at large.
Service acknowledges significant contributions to Osgoode Hall Law School. Candidates should demonstrate leadership and commitment through activities such as the Alumni Board of Directors, the Mentor Program, fundraising, teaching or other activities that advance of the Law School’s objectives or goals.
