Osgoode offers two types of LLM degrees:
Research LLM: a full-time, funded academic program focused on faculty-supervised research leading to a thesis.
Professional LLM: a course-based program for experienced professionals with part-time and full-time study options. This program blends theory and practice and has no thesis requirement. These are offered through Osgoode Professional Development.
The PhD in Law an advanced degree involving extensive, research-intensive study, suitable for students who aim for an academic position.
