Christopher Pollon will discuss his new book, which highlights nine mining projects from around the globe and reflects on what a future with less mining might look at.

Christopher Pollon is an award-winning Canadian freelance journalist  who as been published by National Geographic, VICE, The Walrus, The Globe and Mail and many more.

Commentary by Sara Ghebremusse, the Cassels Chair in Mining Law and Finance at the Faculty of Law, Western University.

Sara Ghebremusse, received her doctorate from Osgoode Hall Law School and writes,

in the areas of mining law and governance, law and development, transnational

law, and human rights, with a particular focus on Sub-Saharan Africa.
