Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, our Visitor Programs are on hold.
As an internationally engaged law school, Osgoode’s Visitor Programs host a diverse range of outstanding visitors from around the world. The programs provide visitors with an opportunity to focus on their research development, work alongside some of the most distinguished legal scholars in the country, as well as get absorbed in the Law School’s culture and events. Visitors help to develop our vibrant academic community by infusing new ideas and perspectives.
Similar to other educational institutions, York University receives requests by external researchers (researchers who are not affiliated with the York University community in any capacity) to conduct research on campus and/or involving York University community members be they staff, faculty or students. Any research conducted at York University and/or with/involving York University community members (Staff/Faculty/Students) is subject to review and approval by the HRPC.
Osgoode’s Research Centres offer additional opportunities for visiting research scholars, graduate students, or those who are actively doing post-graduate work at another institution. Please browse through our Research Centres to see what opportunities may be available.
