Robin is currently Senior Litigation Counsel at the Ontario Securities Commission where he is responsible for leading high-profile prosecutions before the Capital Markets Tribunal and all levels of Ontario courts.
Robin has represented clients in several of Canada’s most prominent white-collar prosecutions, including Nortel, Royal Group and Armour Pharmaceuticals. He has also represented provincial regulatory bodies before all levels of court, including ground breaking cases such as the College of Psychologists of Ontario versus Jordan Peterson.
An adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School since 2014, Robin teaches the Law of Evidence in both the JD and Common Law LLM programs. He is also a sought-after speaker on topics such as financial crimes, internal investigations, criminal procedure, and professional regulation, and is co-author of the leading textbook, “Prosecuting and Defending Professional Regulatory Cases,” published by Emond.
