After attending Osgoode Hall Law School, Naseem Mithoowani was called to the Bar in 2008. Since 2010, she has practiced exclusively in the areas of immigration and refugee law at a prominent and internationally known law firm. She is currently a principal lawyer at Mithoowani Waldman Immigration Law Group.
Ms. Mithoowani has appeared before all levels of the Immigration Division and Refugee Protection Division and regularly argues judicial review applications before the Federal Court. She practices in the areas of business immigration, personal immigration and administrative law. Outside of her legal practice, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Urban Alliance on Race Relations and is regularly called upon to speak about issues that affect racialized communities in Canada.
