As an Osgoode alumna, Melissa excelled in all her courses and exhibited real enthusiasm for her Evidence class. She had great passion and dedication to a life of advocacy and thrived on solving complex legal issues. Melissa enjoyed a distinguished cross-border litigation career in New York City (Sullivan & Cromwell LLP), Vancouver (McEwan Partners) and Toronto (Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP) tragically cut short by cancer in her prime. Through this prize, we celebrate her legacy and inspire future generations to follow in her footsteps, emphasizing the importance of excellence in legal education and practice.
The Melissa Hunt ’07 Memorial Prize will be awarded annually to the top student in Evidence.
