The Phillips-Stewart Student Library is established after Thomas Brown Phillips-Stewart, a twenty-six year old barrister and sometime poet passes away, leaving $8,000 to the Law School to purchase books expressly for the use of students. Osgoode Hall Law School Library still has some of these books in their Special Collections.
