A Message from R. Roy McMurtry LLB ’58, LLD ’91
Honourary Chair, Osgoode History & Archives Project
I invite you to take part in our exciting and important Osgoode History & Archives Project. Osgoode students, faculty and staff moved into a beautiful new building in the fall of 2011. In conjunction with that momentous occasion, the Law School has undertaken the Osgoode History & Archives Project to showcase the Law School’s illustrious past in dynamic displays located throughout the new building.
For me, an alumnus who graduated from Osgoode more than a half-century ago and who has seen how legal education and legal practice have changed dramatically over those years, the idea of capturing Osgoode’s unique history is both thrilling and essential.
The Osgoode History & Archives Project will ensure that Osgoode’s history is preserved and continues to animate its future. We are eager to tell you more about how you can participate in this worthwhile initiative and encourage you to contact us.
