Adam is a Tax Policy Officer in the Tax Legislation Division at the Department of Finance. As part of his job, Adam analyzes tax policy issues and drafts tax legislation, explanatory notes, and other supporting materials for Budget measures. Some examples of previous work include involvement with the Dividend Received Deduction by Financial Institutions measure, the Synthetic Equity Arrangement rules, and the Excessive Interest and Financing Expenses Limitation rules.
Before starting at the Department of Finance, Adam worked at a boutique firm where his practice focused on residential and commercial real estate development.
