Olha Senyshyn graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2015. Before immigrating to Canada, she worked as a corporate lawyer in Kyiv, Ukraine, specializing in corporate and labour law, crossborder M&A, corporate real estate and tax law.
Over the past five years in Canada, Ms. Senyshyn has had a successful career as a tax professional at H&R Block. While at law school, she was a member of the university teams in 15th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the 2016 Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot. As an active member of the Osgoode community, she judged various mooting competitions, co-founded and managed students’ clubs, volunteered as a student ambassador, mock trial coach and students’ mentor. Ms. Senyshyn also worked as a caseworker at Osgoode Business Clinic providing legal services to small business owners.
Ms. Senyshyn is currently involved in a number of research projects with professors from Osgoode Hall Law School and Carleton University. She also assists in teaching Canadian Contract Law to foreign-trained lawyers and works as a Student Coordinator at Osgoode Business Clinic.
Ms. Senyshyn practices in the areas of immigration and refugee law, family law and civil litigation. She is fluent in English, Ukrainian and Russian and is an active member of the Ukrainian community in Canada.
