Hennick JD/MBA students and senior leadership at the breakfast

Student leaders in the Hennick JD/MBA program at Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business recently came together for a breakfast meeting with Dean Zwick, Dean Trevor Farrow, Program Director Peter Macdonald, and Assistant Program Director Bridget Bilski. The gathering provided an opportunity to reflect on the past academic year and share ideas to guide the program’s continued growth.

During the session, students offered candid feedback on curriculum integration, scheduling, and professional development support, highlighting the value of the dual-degree structure in preparing them for careers at the intersection of law and business.

The breakfast also served as a forum for forward-looking dialogue. Students proposed new initiatives to strengthen mentorship, expand experiential learning, and foster greater collaboration across cohorts.

A key highlight was the introduction of the program’s new student leadership team, who shared their priorities for the year ahead. Faculty and administrators welcomed the feedback, reaffirming their commitment to continuous improvement and student partnership.

The meeting concluded on a collaborative note, with students and leadership expressing optimism for the program’s trajectory and a shared commitment to enhancing one of Canada’s leading dual-degree offerings.
