Service Details

Software applications are available to use on workstations and mobile devices.

Microsoft 365 Apps

Microsoft 365 Apps include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive and Teams.

  • Sign into Microsoft 365 Copilot, then click Install apps to download and install the applications to your Windows or macOS device
  • Download the mobile versions of the Microsoft 365 Apps from the App Store or Google Play

Microsoft 365 Training

Online training for all of the Microsoft 365 Apps including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint–is available through LinkedIn Learning and on the Microsoft 365 Training site.  To access LinkedIn Learning with your York account:

Service Details

  1. Go to LinkedIn Learning
  2. Click Sign In at the top of the page
  3. Click Sign in with your organization portal
  4. Type yorku.ca
  5. Sign in with your Passport York account

Web Browser

Microsoft Edge is available for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices.  You can sign into Edge using your Passport York (username@yorku.ca) credentials to keep your passwords, favorites and history synchronized with all your devices.

PDF Applications

If you have an Osgoode managed Windows computer, PDF-XChange Pro will be installed and can be used to edit PDFs.  Visit the PDF-XCHange Help Site for detailed instructions on working with the software.

If you do not have PDF-XChange Pro, Adobe Acrobat Pro can be accessed through MyApps to work with PDFs.

Go to the Microsoft Edge download page for links and instructions to install Edge on all your devices.

Zoom

Visit the Zoom at YorkU page to download and install Zoom, and to setup your preferences on your Zoom profile.

MyApps

MyApps gives you virtual access to applications such as SIS, R25, Adobe Acrobat Professional and PDF-XChange PRO.

  1. Sign into MyApps using your Passport York credentials
  2. The first time, you will be prompted to install the AppsAnywhere plugin
  3. Click the green button below the application you want to launch

Osgoode Managed Workstations

These software titles are installed automatically on Osgoode managed workstations.

  • Microsoft 365 Apps – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive and Teams
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • PDF-XChange Pro (Windows devices only)
  • VPN (Ivanti Secure Access)
  • Windows Defender ATP
